Nurture Faith. Build Character. Create Meaningful Moments.
Stories have a special way of reaching a child’s heart. They can make children laugh, help them understand difficult lessons, spark meaningful conversations, and leave truths in their hearts long after the story ends.
At Godly Parenting Insights, our stories are created to help parents and children enjoy meaningful reading moments while discovering God’s Word and developing godly character.
Our collection brings together two kinds of stories:
Bible Stories
Stories based on real accounts and teachings from the Bible, retold in a simple, engaging way that children can understand and enjoy.

Through these stories, children can discover what Scripture teaches about faith, courage, obedience, love, forgiveness, wisdom, and walking with God.
Character-Building Stories
Original, imaginative stories created to help children develop godly character and learn practical life lessons.

Through memorable characters, humour, adventure, and everyday challenges, these stories explore qualities such as kindness, honesty, patience, gratitude, courage, self-control, forgiveness, and compassion.
Each story is connected to a biblical principle or Scripture, helping children see how God’s Word can guide the way they think, feel, and live.
Stories for Every Stage
Ages 3–6
Gentle, simple stories with easy-to-follow lessons, colourful imagination, and short moments of reflection.
These stories are especially suited for reading aloud with younger children.
Ages 7–12
Richer stories with deeper lessons, more developed characters, and opportunities for children to think, ask questions, and apply what they learn.
More Than Just a Story
Our stories are designed to become opportunities for conversation, reflection, prayer, and family discipleship.
Depending on the story, you may find:
- A lesson or teaching point
- A Scripture or biblical principle
- A closing prayer
- Questions for parents and children to discuss
- A practical character lesson
- A simple truth for the child to remember
Parents can read these stories at bedtime, during family devotion, during quiet moments, or whenever there is an opportunity to plant a meaningful truth in a child’s heart.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16

Bible Stories
Discover stories from Scripture that help children learn God’s Word and see how faith can shape their lives.
Character-Building Stories
Enjoy imaginative stories that help children learn important values and develop godly character.
Whether the story comes directly from Scripture or springs from an imaginative forest filled with bears, birds, foxes, and other unforgettable characters, our goal remains the same:
To help children know God’s Word, love what is right, and grow in godly character.
For Parents
A story may last only a few minutes, but the conversation that follows can last much longer.
Take time to ask your child what they learned, what they would have done differently, or how the lesson connects to something happening in their own life.
Sometimes, the little conversation after the story is where the biggest lesson begins.
Happy reading, and may every story become an opportunity to plant God’s Word in your child’s heart.
